Hola amigos! We would like to introduce ourselves to you…I’m Shari originally from Canada and lived in baja for 20 years and my husband Juan Arce Marron is from Bahia Asuncion.

We are fortunate to live in front of the Blowhole here in beautiful Bahia Asuncion where we operate a sportsfishing charter business, accomodation rentals as well as real estate and construction services.
We also offer spanish immersion packages and help new residents assimilate into our wonderful community.

Hello Sharon and Juan, It looks like you have a lovely spot.
I have a few questions since your place has piqued my interest
How long of a trip from the US Border is it to get to your place, and where are your recommended halfway , or third way points to spend the night if it is more than 2 days?
I was wondering what are the various fees to camp an RV at your site for a week to a month… maybe more…??
My partner and I have a small 17 foot self-contained van with its own water tanks, and toilet, stove etc. We heard about you via vagabundos and jim foremant. If you have another website with this info, please pass it along. I have only found this blog, which is nice, too.
Also, what is the status of the road going to Asuncion? I have heard that it has been extremely pot-holed and difficult to travel…

Hi Shari and Juan
We are back in usa. It was so nice to meet you both and see the beautiful coast of Asuncion. We will definitely be back very soon. We were wondering if you had more informatio on what properties are available that you could email us some ideas.
I very enjoyed fishing with Juan and Rick. I hope the outboard motor I left for Juan works well for him, it does not feel right to sell something like that to a friend, but if he is happy with it and wants to take Susan and I out for a couple of half day fishing trips that would be nice, but only if he is happy with the deal.
Please say hi to Ramon and Ramona and Phillip and Jessica and also Tomas at the restarant and Stan and Rick if he is still there. Hope to see everyone soon.

ENJOY READING ABOUT ASUNCION, WENT THROUGH ON A QUAD TRIP FROM SCORPION WITH A BUNCH IN 2002, PLAN ON BEING THERE IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS IN OUR 5TH WHEEL, DO WE NEED TO MAKE RESERV.

Hi Shari, feel like i know you, from so much that i read on Baja nomad ..My name Ruben Castillo ,Im also a nomad, live in Lakeside,Ca… Im trying to plan a week, the beging of Nov. out there..Check on land, or small home, for the future.. Just talk to my Neighbor,said her dad lives out there.He was always inviting me years back, dummy me never took him up on his offer..His name is Paul Camaho,,,older fello.. Get back to you in a couple weeks to maybe renting a place for a couple days

My name is John Alderson, and I will be driving back to the US from my home on the East Cape in October. I’ve read about your place, and would like to stop and stay a couple of days in October.
